🍂 Golden Fall Moments 🍂

It was one of those perfect fall evenings—warm, calm, and glowing with golden light. I spent a short time with Samantha and her adorable two-year-old son, Noah. Together they made the session pure magic.

Instead of worrying about posing, Samantha simply played with her little boy. They laughed, chased each other, and threw leaves into the air—watching them swirl and fall all around. Those simple, joyful moments are what make photos so special.

The love between them showed in every smile and every glance. With the sunlight filtering through the trees and the leaves dancing around them, it felt like fall at its very best.

These are the memories I love to capture—real, tender, and full of life. 🍁📷

Yes, there were lots of pictures—but when you have the perfect light and cooperative models, how can you not keep clicking? I can photograph so quickly when everything falls into place, and honestly, how do you stop taking pictures of a cute kid with so many adorable expressions?

A good part of the evening was when Samantha began signing to Noah. It reminded me of when I used to sign to my boys when they were little. The sign she was using was “more,” because Noah wanted another rock to throw. I was handing her rocks to hold until I could get into place for the next photo—well, a few photos! Noah was having the best time tossing them and giggling, always wanting more.

🍁 If you’ve been thinking about updating your family photos, now’s the perfect time.

Mother’s Day Session

We planned this Mother’s Day session to be indoors because she loved this beautiful scene background.

While it’s different from outdoor sessions, it still captures those sweet, genuine moments between mom and her son.

We’ve already started planning ahead for a full family session this summer before her husband’s deployment in August, and I’m really looking forward to getting them all together again.

I also added his infant pictures to this post—one of my favorite parts of this job is getting to watch these little ones grow up right in front of my camera.

Until Next Session

We've also done Christmas, Easter with and without his cousins, aunts and gramma. But I figured I better stop adding pictures.

The best compliment you can give your photographer is to keep inviting them back to document your life.

Thank you for the compliment!
