It’s hard to believe Charlotte is already ONE! We had so much fun celebrating this special milestone with her.
We started with a few quick pictures outside, capturing some sweet moments before heading inside for even more fun. Once we got into the studio, it was time to let the birthday girl play, smile, and enjoy herself!
And of course, no first birthday session would be complete without a cake smash! Charlotte got to dig into her cake, make a little mess, and give us some adorable pictures along the way.
These one-year sessions are always so much fun because every little personality is different—and Charlotte definitely kept us smiling! What a sweet way to remember this special time before she grows up way too fast.

Before we wrapped up, I have to share one of my favorite pictures from Charlotte’s session—the one with my new little tabletop mirror! I found this mirror at an antique store, and as soon as I saw it, I knew I had to have it. I could just picture my little clients sitting in front of it, looking at themselves.
We actually used it at the beginning of Charlotte’s session, and I think Charlie made the picture absolutely perfect! That sweet little face looking at herself in the mirror is just too adorable!
I have a feeling this little mirror is going to become a favorite in the studio. What do you think—isn’t it adorable?!
