Some sessions just leave you smiling the entire time, and that's exactly how I feel every time I see Lydia and Hazel.
Last year, we created a fun, nostalgic session with glass Coke bottles, red bandanas, and bright red lipstick. It had such a classic, vintage feel, and we had an absolute blast bringing that vision to life.
This year, we decided to turn up the fun even more with a colorful powdered chalk fight! There was laughter, flying colors, and so many genuine moments between this sweet mother and daughter. Watching them interact and enjoy each other's company is always a joy.
I truly love seeing these two every year. Their sessions never feel like work—they're simply fun from beginning to end. And yes, I took way too many pictures, but I just couldn't stop! Every moment was worth capturing, and narrowing down my favorites was nearly impossible.
Thank you, Lydia and Hazel, for another unforgettable session. I already can't wait to see what kind of adventure we create next year!
Meet Hazel
All of the photos shared here are exactly how the client received them. Each session includes two additional fully retouched images at no extra charge. I always recommend choosing the photos you plan to print so those special memories look their absolute best in print.
And here we go!
The sun decided not to cooperate, but we didn't want to wait and risk the clouds getting even darker, so we jumped right in. Honestly, it didn't matter one bit because Lydia and Hazel brought all the color and sunshine we needed! The powdered chalk made for the perfect ending to their session, with lots of laughter, colorful hugs, and memories that I'm sure we'll all remember for years to come.
Then the sun came out
Just as we were finishing up, the sun finally decided to make an appearance! Of course, there was no way we were stopping then. We kept going and captured even more beautiful moments, and honestly, I think I love these images even more. The warm sunshine mixed with all the colorful chalk made for the perfect ending to an already amazing session!
Hazel didn't want to stop, she used all the chaulk I gave her!
